With the introduction of several new insurance companies into the Texas Market as well as some tried and true companies ever-changing policies, also comes new cost-cutting tactics. When reporting a claim, many of our customers are being mislead by their insurance company or by the company that is responsible for settling the claim, into believing that they are required to have their vehicle repaired only at a specific preferred shop.

These insurance companies preferred shops make up a network that is similar to healthcare HMO networks. When these preferred shops are used, the insurance company may receive labor concession, lower labor rates, parts discounts or require the use of inferior parts
